Client Testimonials

Erica Keswin, 3X WSJ Best Selling Author & Future of Work Expert

“Bethany Saltman has partnered with me for three books, first helping me land deals with major publishers, and then as a writing guide. All three are bestsellers. What I have by hiring Bethany is a strategist. First she pushes me to map out the big picture of my brand before diving into the details, and provides coaching, asking me tough questions to keep me on task. The result is a clear idea and direction of brand and platform, which helped me land the books as well as compelling consulting projects and keynote speaking gigs. Bethany is a true partner.”

Lindsay J. Roth, Executive Producer, RIZ Productions & Author

“I was so excited to have Fran's council during the development stage of my Romances & Practicalities book proposal. Her industry knowledge and foresight for what my proposal should contain and how it should land were invaluable to me. Fran was also a helpful resource for crucial industry decisions I made during the proposal process, most specifically when I switched agents. All in all, Fran took both my project and me under her wing. She is a delight to work with, and I was able to maximize my publishing deal with HarperCollins because of our work together.”

Is this the program for you?

The answer is yes if you are:

  • Ready to work on your nonfiction book—at any stage and in any of the publishing platforms—traditional, hybrid, or self-publishing.

  • Ready to cut to the chase by blueprinting your book.

  • Committed to a book being a cornerstone of your next steps as a writer, an expert, thought leader, entrepreneur, or business owner.

  • Prepared to pitch yourself to potential agents and publishers. You can do it! No more hiding.

  • Excited to work in a collective of other smart, passionate, bookbound women like you.

The answer is maybe not if you are:

  • Not convinced you need to write a book. Writing a book is hard work! If you need more time to think about it, you should definitely take it.

  • Still enjoying the more free-flowing creative process.

  • Frustrated by the time and effort it takes to write and publish your book. We get it! But we know anything worthwhile takes time.

  • Just not ready to invest in yourself. We understand and hope you’ll join us next time :)

  • More interested in working on your own. While you’ll have plenty of time to process between meetings, this accelerator is a collective experience.

The return on your investment is YOU

We know that book publishing can be intimidating and overwhelming. But we’ve been in the publishing world long enough (over fifty years between the two of us!) to know that the building blocks of a great book are simple and very accessible.

We know that if you’re reading this, you have exactly what it takes to write and publish a book.

That’s why we created our original BOOKBOUND Blueprint, a simple, straightforward guide to the most important elements of a successful book, regardless of how you want to publish it: Your dynamic idea, organizing principle, table of contents, market positioning, and title.

Yes, a book can take years to write, but with the support of a community like ours, you can create your BOOKBOUND Blueprint in just eight weeks.

By joining us in the BOOKBOUND Accelerator, you’ll gain much more than a simple ‘how-to.’  This woman-only cohort-coaching experience is devoted to helping you launch yourself as the writer you dream of becoming.

Finally, if you don’t currently have the resources to work with us privately, this accelerator is the perfect way to take full advantage of our many years of writing, editing, marketing, and publishing experience at a significantly reduced rate and with a group of brilliant women to call your bookbound friends as you continue on this path.

The return on your investment is YOU.
